Requirements for the Role 

To ensure the highest standards of safety and clinical excellence, candidates must meet the following criteria: 

  • Registration: Valid NMC pin as a Registered Mental Health Nurse. 

  • Clinical Background: Provision of Enhanced Clinical References covering your recent practice. 

  • Mandatory Training: 

    • Oliver McGowan Training: Tier 1 Online (Learning Disability and Autism). 

    • Safeguarding Adults: Level 3. 

    • Safeguarding Children: Level 3 (Full Practical Course). 

    • Full CSTF Training: Core Skills Training Framework compliance. 

    • Medication Administration Training: Evidence of current competency. 

    • Mental Capacity Act Training: Comprehensive understanding of MCA and DoLS.
