Position Details
Job Title: Healthcare Assistant
Location: East Sussex (view map)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
Vacancy type: ongoing agency work, NHS job opportunities
Duration: 3 to 6 months
Responsibilities
Activity Delivery: Engage children in various learning, creative, and physical activities tailored to different age groups.
Child Supervision: Provide attentive supervision and interact positively with children offering calm instructions and guidance.
Mealtime Assistants: Help children during meal times, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience.
Clean up: Maintain cleanliness by clearing up activity areas and food spaces.
Communication: Report children's achievements and activities to the trained practitioner.
Outdoor Supervision: Oversee and participate in outdoor play and activities.
Personal Care: Assist with personal hygiene tasks such as hand washing and face cleaning.
Requirements
Previous experience working with children in a healthcare setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to engage children in various activities
Compassionate and patient demeanor
