Essential Practical Training for Agency Healthcare Staff

These requirements include completing the following practical training courses annually to maintain compliance with our clients' standards:

1. Moving and Handling: This training equips healthcare workers with the proper techniques for safely moving and handling patients, minimizing the risk of injury to both the patient and the caregiver.

2. Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS certification is crucial for healthcare professionals, enabling them to respond effectively to emergencies involving cardiac arrest or other life-threatening situations.

3. Immediate Life Support (ILS) All clinically trained staff (doctors, registered nurses and midwives), who deliver or are involved in rapid tranquilisation, physical restraint and seclusion are to be trained in ILS. You can complete either or both neonatal life support and adult life support courses.
