Are you a passionate and caring nurse eager to make an impact in urgent care? The British Nursing Association is recruiting experienced Band 5 UTC Nurses to join our team across the South West, including Bristol, Somerset, Taunton, and Exeter. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with urgent but non-life-threatening conditions. 

  • Provide care for minor injuries such as fractures, wounds, and burns. 

  • Manage common illnesses like infections, asthma, and allergic reactions. 

  • Perform diagnostic tests (e.g., blood tests, ECGs) and administer treatments. 

  • Work alongside GPs, paramedics, and other healthcare professionals. 

  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure continuity of care. 

  • Educate patients on self-care and follow-up treatment. 

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with valid NMC registration. 

  • Experience in urgent care, A&E, or minor injury units. 

  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills. 

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Excellent communication and patient-care skills. 

  • Additional qualifications in minor injury/minor illness management (desirable). 

  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings.
