Essential Requirements 

To be successful in this role, you must hold a valid NMC pin and possess a strong background in mental health nursing. Candidates must meet the following compliance criteria: 

  • Enhanced Clinical References: Evidence of high-standard practice from previous employers. 

  • Oliver McGowan Training: Completion of Tier 1 Online (Learning Disability and Autism). 

  • Safeguarding Adults – Level 3: Advanced knowledge in protecting vulnerable adults. 

  • Safeguarding Children – Level 3: Must be the Full Practical Course. 

  • Full CSTF Training: Evidence of completed Core Skills Training Framework modules. 

  • Medication Administration Training: Up-to-date certification in safe medicine management. 

  • Mental Capacity Act Training: A thorough understanding of MCA and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS).
