Are you regulated by Care Quality Commission, CQC?
A24 Group t/a British Nursing Association is regulated by The Care Quality Commission to provide the following regulated activities: Diagnostic and screening procedures; Personal Care; Treatment of disease, disorder or injury. In Northern Ireland regulation is by the Regulatory & Improvement Authority and in Scotland by the Scottish Care Commission for domiciliary care.
Is BNA affiliated to any other agencies?
BNA operates as an agency within, and is wholly owned by the A24 Group, since 2010. We benefit from the group’s major investment in training, compliance and ICT systems. Within the A24 Group, BNA is predominately a supplier for longer term contract work in the NHS, offering good continuity of local work for nurses and HCAs.
Do my work opportunities remain the same within the A24 Group?
Yes – and in addition a major benefit for all BNA members is (subject to compliance) the opportunity to work for any of the nursing agencies in the group – so you can control how little or how much work you receive, with a choice of pay scales to match.
Who do I contact when I need to update my training, CRB etc?
We have centralised all group compliance processes, for speed and efficiency - although if you are dealing with one of our local branches it can assist you too. As a group we have invested in advanced technology to help us manage your records and to ensure that we are available to help you at all times, 24-7.
